Delegate the restroom details before the wedding day
Give a planner or venue contact responsibility for equipment access and placement questions. Share the accepted arrangement with that person and the rental team. Include vendors preparing the property early, and confirm whether their needs are covered by existing facilities or the temporary rental.
Make privacy compatible with easy access
Think about guest wayfinding from the ceremony and reception, especially after dark. Screens and decorations should not cover the entry or obstruct the route. Check washing, accessible options and trailer utilities in advance, leaving the final appearance to work around an agreed practical setup.
Give the venue a restroom handover sheet
Ask one coordinator to keep the equipment description, location, arrival arrangements and collection contact together. Review the guest walk after dark and the space around entrances before decorative screens or furniture are installed. For a trailer, confirm who provides the required connections; appearance alone does not establish readiness.
Include people outside the guest list
- Suppliers and helpers who arrive before the ceremony.
- Guests who need an accessible facility and route.
- The clearing team remaining after the reception.
Plan the walk as well as the restroom
Consider lighting after dark, signs, the walking surface and the needs of guests using mobility aids. Keep facilities convenient without putting the entrance or waiting area directly beside dining or photographs.
